I went to Wallys yesterday afternoon to pick up an Rx and of course, I ALWAYS have to go down the clearance isle.

I bought 51 cans of this Bruce's canned sweet potatoes. Even tho some were marked $1.50, they were all 50 cents!! I'm taking them to the food bank today. I've never seen canned sweet potatoes there in my 13 months of volunteering.

I was so thrilled that the regular checkout person was amazed, and the Asset Protection man was smiling ear to ear!! (I'll bet all he gets are rude people, so I made him happy with my telling him how all we get are beans, beans, beans, pb, and more beans!)

We rarely have good clearance items at my local WM. Little bit now & then when they do a section reset.

Being inside from rain, no jobs scheduled because of predicted weather, I decided to file my taxes Info all entered, then msg -- they aren't able to submit yet. Mid to end of Jan before IRS accepting. Crap. At least it's done beyond pushing a few buttons when filing opens up. They'll txt me!

It's cold. Dismal outside. I'm thinking bake brownies!

Sounds delish! My grands made brownies the other day - but nothing left. They also made cookies the next day. Nothing left of those either, lol. Kids eat a lot!

Kids!! One yr, when my own were maybe 7&10, I tried to make holiday cookies early. Working left little time for long days of that. I'd make some double batches, freeze half. When it came time, I opened the boxes I'd so carefully hidden bags of cookies into..... Almost all empty. They & friends had been carefully opening & closing my stash!! . Garage freezer.

Yep - KIDS!

Mine (didn't all of us) would carefully look for hidden Christmas presents every year. I finally got smart enough to hide them where they'd never look. In the barn, lol!

The weather was half decent at lunch, so I bundled up and attacked the driveway. I think I moved more gravel (as I said before, I think they dumped way too much) than snow, but it looks passable now. I get to test it tomorrow when I have to go on-site for work.

Tractor therapy is always good

Still cold. Getting colder and another shot for snow fri/Sat

Hay dealer out of a lot of hay types, esp orchard or orchard/Alf I buy. Says weather has held up a lot but, this load is in route and expected Fri or Sat. Darn...hope it's Friday!!! I need that hay blend and not a drive in snow my girls are picky eaters.

Oh boy! Hope you can get that hay before any snow fall. You've got hungry mama goats to feed!

I feel for all of you getting snow where it usually doesn't fall. Really messes up things because you don't have the infrastructure to clear it or make roads less slick.

We're oddly warm here. I should go clean the lichen and moss off my pickup.
