tended to the dogs and all, had coffee and chickens the Baseball scores. Seattle is doing great! neck & neck with NYY. I love both teams.

Due to Welsummers not being available,, I had ordered leghorns.
WELL!! this morning I randomly thought,, "I'll check and see if any Welsummers are available.................
AND there were 16 females,

I snagged them and canceled the leghorn order

Well -- it has begun!. The increases due to the tariffs wars, threats, etc. Thank J&J and P&G for raising prices now to avoid the rush -- and probably brag "they'll hold the line" on increases if there are any significant pricing costs from actual tariffs. Yeah, already had the kick up.

I & another spent 8 hrs each, replacing store shelf price strips, each with multiple higher prices. Some just nonsense. Expect your bottle of ibuprofen, cough syrup, vitamins and deodorant to cost 25 cent to $1. more. Foods, same deal. Factor that into approx 85% of all items bought and we'll see huge profits for big corps in next qtr!!!

I got both dogs a shower and nails trimmed, the coop walls swept down , a second set of nesting boxes 95% done. Need to put a slant board over them.
A Load of dog towels washed/ hung out and folded. Got DH his dinner. He will be off to the elder meeting soon. I need to wash up the chick feeders and set up the brooding pen.
I did not get out to the garden or mow.

Five so far, gands and neighbor children named them.

I told my youngest granddaughter that new born chicks can live for three days without food and water. She said I know. I said how did you know that? She said oh, we learned about farm animals at school for the last two weeks. I said yea? Did you learn they are delicious? She said I already knew that pawpaw.

Coffee is ready. Happy 70th birthday to me. Was going to my sister’s house today and we were going to go shopping, her favorite thing to do, lunch with a friend and have a good day. Mother Nature decided to show up with flooding, Noah’s rain storm, possible tornadoes, and hail. Today and tomorrow. Mother Nature’s party outranks anything I can do, so we decided to have a Shelter In Place Party and keep our little candy a$$es at home. Next week is looking good.
