It appears the tornado that hit Friday has been offically classified as a EF4. Skip to about 5:30 seconds, If you don't want to watch the formation. Yes these guys are native speaking Germans. We have a fair amount of native speaking Germans around here, it's why I know a little German language. Still waiting to hear how many miles it was on the ground.

The devastation is horrible. Amazing how one house is flattened & blown to shreds, while another stands almost untouched. I've been to E5 areas just a few days after (Homestead, FL)...to restore our properties. Lived 3 months in our camper which we drove there. No stores, power, only food kitchens. It's life changing! We had left the morning before it hit, not knowing the hurricane was imminent.

GOOD MORNING ,
images (9).jpg

I am up, built a fire in the woodstove, its pouring rain- which we need- but its 43 and cold.
I had a wonderful, exulting day yesterday.
I took my 7 grandkids , son and DIL all to the woodland Park Zoo.
what a joy to see them all run from one exhibit to another. The 3yr old was so joyful, they all were. They got to ride the very old carousel.

We left at 9am and drove but took the ferry back. My Tony dog did so great in the house for 10 hours, and the baby chicks did fine.
