I am beat. Yesterday wore me out. Uppet hallway trim painting done this morning, a few hours of household chores completed.

Who's black dog?

That's my neighbors black lab, mini or minnie, i'm not sure how they spell her name. I just call her min. She comes for a visit most times she sees me, i like it when she comes over to visit.

High Choice, Low Prime... More like it would go prime in the store. My Jersey beef goes prime most all the time...

I used to buy No Roll alot for the restaurant chain Stuart Anderson's Black Angus. Those were trending up to Upper Choice, as we called it back in the 80's.

So coffee was first then I could read my days list. Heavy house cleaning all week, while I'm off job work. Chores happened. Some follow ups done. Feed order placed...will pick up when I go to town for the lawn tractors starter solenoid Repairs never seem to end.

In honor of Labor day, begin of Fall, I opened a jar of apple butter for toast. Got several jars canned & need to use it! Now, back to the dreaded cleaning Love results, hate the doing.

It's similar to gardening in that respect.

i am glad that i enjoy most of gardening. as long as flowers are not too stinky or i can work upwind.

Wheat crackers, topped with soft goat cheese & apple butter...really tasty for breakfast. Been doing good all day and mostly done with today's list. I'm having a coffee break! Much warmer out today but humidity is really low, light breeze, makes it quite pleasant. My hen took her batch of 3 chicks exploring. Dang, made them walk a long way! Amazing, tuff little chicks.

Even did a few things outside, not on list.

Weather system slid thru last night with about 1/2" of rain but, cooled us back off to high 60s. Thank you. That's where we'd been, then thur-sat a vengeful heat wave of 90 EA day. Thinking we're gonna stay in 70s now... I could do that all year.

Coffee in the cool morning breeze. Plus a bran muffin.
