Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

at least it is after Thanksgiving when decorations for Christmas should start making appearances... we have a few small things we put out but overall it's just not for us. we don't have a lot of storage space so having places for decorations would mean we'd have even less room for the stuff we do use all the year 'round...

Saw a lady at the tractor dealer today...Christmas decorating was a discussion there & while others went wild, she & I agreed that we do nothing & feel fine with that We're both alone & just not bothering. Were both also age mature !

Love to see others & remember when I did such things.

Rain this morning. Started 3ish and supposedly about to blow on out shortly. They suggested about 1.5"... We'll see. Goats are in barns...wet feet, no thanks attitude.

Slowly having coffee -- mostly indoor day.

Up and on my first cup of coffee. Coffee is delicious, however the content of my last couple of days is NOT.

My fresh coffee is great this morn. Hoping for this sunshine to continue all day -- like the rain yesterday! Wet out there! Coffee a must before anything outside. I'll need the encouragement kick to maneuver.

Hard frost & 24* at 5am....wow....thanks mother nature. Hoping tomorrow's threat of doesn't happen. Then that "stuff" will be blown away mid morning by rain event coming from the south. Seems the plan is a horrible mess. not thrilled.

i dislike lukewarm coffee or hot chocolate - i hardly ever set them down if possible and just sip sip sip until they're gone gone gone.

cold out but warmer than yesterday's get up. Dusting of snow, light accumulation on vehicles. Roads are clear. It's warming slowly so it'll be light rain later. I've chosen to be inside & cooking. Probably a siesta today.

The barn hay racks were loaded last night, so animals had daybreak breakfast without my being out there. We're all relaxing at the farm today.
