Still have crud my 15 year old granddaughter gave me at Christmas. Coughing and blowing nose, the OTC stuff just ain’t getting it gone. I think it’s doctor time.

I got therapy this morning. I’ll take an OTC something, I got plenty to choose from, so I’m not coughing all over everybody. I just about got my own OTC pharmacy and I think it’s time to go get a shot, or antibiotics, time to call in the Big Dogs. LOL

90% rain today, supposed to start in 30 minutes, about when it gets light enough to go feed and do chores. Of course.

Goal this week is to get working equipment set up so I can start taking fecal samples, trimming feet and all that fun stuff. Got to buy some hog panels and a cow panel to build the chutes and put up the gates. Going to put up the sorting gate and use hog panels to make a temporary holding pen. Got to get young ewes worked and put with Cooper. Knee replacement surgery kinda interfered with getting that done, but I had to stop long enough to get myself taken care of.

Going to rain today and tomorrow, sunshine for 3 days, then 3 more days of rain. The sheep lot will be soup, manure soup. Sloppy mud mess. At least it won’t be freezing.

Got 2 heavy bred ewes, Ewenique, a 9 year old, the last of my original 4 that we bought. She is BIG! And Frimplepants, Ewenique’s granddaughter, she also is about to pop. They are at the point of becoming Jamaica Sheep. As in Ja’ Make-uh-me-CRAZY!

there is a saying I have heard out here-- if ya wait for it to stop raining in western washington to get stuff done,,, you'll never get anything done

Being careful with what I eat, brushing, etc, with that temp cap loss...don't want to make things worse. Happened late Friday. Dentist closed on weekends and ....TA DAAA...Closed today, Monday to observe new year day. . Banks, too. Hmmm. Opens 8am tomorrow.

Guess I'll plug along and enjoy the day. Weather is beautiful. Warm next 10 days, almost no work next 10 days, almost unbelievable!! No complaints.

Happy monday everyone, I have had my one cup of coffee and got caught up on all the events/posts,
I am going to open the coop, feed the dogs and wood stove.
and get some MORE COFFEE!

Yes, exactly, used to have a big hammock. My eldest was about 10 and we would get heavy comforters and star gaze for hours during meteor showers

Miss the shuttle flights to the ISS and tracking them overhead, too

Cheap telescope, but was able to view 3 or 4 moons around Jupiter, and the northern ice cap on Mars.

Went to doctor.. Don’t come in. Park around back and call us when you get here. Then, wait in your car, the nurse will come out to see you. Covid test, flu test, which I didn’t have, I already knew that.
Doctors don’t want sick people in their offices. No sympathy! No! Don’t come inside! We don’t want you in here! You are SICK! No telling WHAT you have, it could be Covid 243, turkey flu, leprosy, acne, kookamunga crud, boils, a sore toe and CONTAGIOUS!

The PA came out, standing back from the open window of my car. No stethoscope, no exam, I’m calling in a prescription for you, now go AWAY!

I picked up my prescriptions and came home. It’s storming, thunder, lightning. Sheep and Anatolians are in their shelters.

Yeah.... that ticks me off.... only healthy people in the doctor offices????

I had that issue with my kids just this fall when one had pink eye, with a COUGH.
