Morning all! Happy WEDNESDAY!!!!!!
FH got done doing VDOT stuff last night or early this AM (midnight) but instead of trying to make it home on roads that may have had BLACK ICE I had no problem with going to a hotel for the night. Sure I do miss him but I would rather him be safe than have him risk his life or our NEW vehicle. I'm going to lay back down seeing how Savage (my youngest dog had me up very early) even though I have to stay with him and leave the others unattended. Nope, still can't have Savage around Kozmo so doing what I can to let them both know that I love them both.

I'm awake too early to DO much but, a nap and early to bed yesterday gave me too much sleep time. So this is it. My phone says 19 with feel like of 14 outside . That's extreme around here. Glad I bedded the barns well. Dry, snuggle and share body heat for animals. Prob ice to break on water this morning

Good Morning,
28 out at 4am, got the fire going and made coffee,
It started raining last night, so no need to bring in the hummingbird feeder. The flock will need more water though. I had been only putting 3gal. out, it was easier to carry and not fall down,, they have been drinking 2 gal a day which I think is good for 7 birds.
Well, 5:30, I guess I better go open the coop door. I did get 6 eggs yesterday, 3 of them are from new layers 2 from the 30week olds and 1 from the 29 week'ers

Winter day 5, currently sunny, slight breeze and 10 degrees F.

Friend of mine in Raleigh, NC was complaining it was 19 degrees F this morning. Ha!, I told her we Monday overnight it got down to 2 F with windchills - 10 to - 15F. She said Oh... My... God... then she felt better

Happy morning! I slept through 2 alarms, woke up 2 hours late, had a telehealth appointment for DS16 so DS8 was late to school. oh well, I'm finally at work and starting to adult. Here's hoping for a productive day!

FJ: you made me laugh. I learned to drive in Rochester NY in a 1969 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. Was in high school and got a job at the Sears Candy counter. So had to drive to the mall two nights a week, and on weekends. You learned quickly how and how not to drive.
