Coffee's Ready, Come and Sit on the Porch

It is raining, just a drizzle but hard rains last night. I think I have maybe a half cup of coffee left. I should go get that before I get started on the day. Cooper the ram is currently breeding a ewe, out of 12 I put with him, he’s bred 8. 4 more to go.

Oh shoot! I just emptied the pot (only made 1/2 pot though, been up since little after 3), eating an EVERYTHING bagel (toasted) with cream cheese and got my 2nd cup but I'll make more coffee if Y'all would like me too. The bagel is probably the only thing I'll eat today seeing how FH is taking me out to dinner tonight- We're goin to that little Mexican and I'm getting that burrito my Uncle (yes the one who passed on Wed) had his heart set on. BTW- FH and I had to change our weekend plans seeing how he had to work AGAIN today!

My Daddy was in the Navy all the way through WW2 from start to finish. My brother was a Marine in Viet Nam.

There's a pot of FRESH, HOT and READY coffee and I'm about to go make me ac second cup along with getting the smoker going seeing how FH (BTW-he's still in bed) is going to smoke a Boston Butt that has been marinating in APPLE CIDER (he thought it was Apple Cider VINEGAR till I proved him different, he even tried to get Apple Juice and looked for Apple Cider in the juice aisle) all night long.
Before and after pics of the burrito I had last night in my Uncle's memory. I think I put a little dent into it, what do Y'all think?

this is my plan right now! Morning feed done, so my coffee time. Planning outside work most all day. Get something in oven to bake for supper, lunches & a touch of heat in the house. All good.

This is what you do on your "day off" . Actually, I rested a large part of yesterday. Need "to do" today. Very wet from heavy dew right now. Coffee for dry time. Do a few inside things...get roast from big freezer to thaw, run a load of laundry, empty dishwasher, yeah those kinda things 🫤

We did yard work today but didn't hang any Christmas lights or anything.
FH has a Boston Butt in the smoker that marinated in APPLE CIDER all night long
