FB just got home from a trip with her mom to get her DL renewed. I walked in the back door and into the kitchen. She was standing at the counter stirring her coffee cup, heavy handed. Clink clink cling... I looked in her cup and it wasn't coffee but herbal soothing tea blend she likes. The tenson was thick, I could have cut it with my pocket knife. I knew what was about to happen... So I just stood there, silent, bracing myself. Tank must have sensed it also because he laid down right on top of my feet.
Then it happened... she explained the whole trip in detail to me. All I could do is stand there and listen, nod my head and laugh at the right times to lighten the mood. Tank barked a few times during the unloading. He doesn't like it when anyone raises their voice while talking to me. Although I had my full attention on FB and didnt even noticed tank barking. But I had to reassue him several times after FB pointed her finger at him and said, "and you just shut up, I can talk to him if I want too!"
Until today... I had no idea you could get from southern IL through Kentucky back to southern IL again twice. Basicly her mom got them lost on country roads and refused to listen to FB and ended up in Kentucky. They got pointed back to Southern IL, only to get lost back in Kentucky again.

From what I could gather... it was because her mom refused to drive on non-striped roads. What can I say, she's old and set in her ways. I don't want to say it, but I will, because it's the truth. You really can't go anywhere around here without driving on non-striped roads. We are blessed to have oil and chip roads, let's alone paint on the roads around here.
Anyways FB is much better now
P.S. I stive for peace around here. Even if it means getting unloaded on, for the sake of having peace restored, I'll gladly get unloaded upon.
P.S.S. Did you know the word peace is in 400 verses in the Holy Bible? It's the truth. I consider that to be very important and something to strive for
I waned to add... Peace in Hebrew is
šālôm pronounced shaw-lome'. We've probably heard it spoken before, I know I sure have.
I'll spare you any further
Jesus is Lord and Christ
