Wow, the lawn is GREEN this morning. Rain continues. No storms. Was out and about yesterday minor flooding only, thankfully

COFFEES READY
Yesterday I got house work done, washed and hung out to dry kitchen towels; bath towels and sheets. Got the yard mowed, all trash out, bed remade,
So,, I didnt go get paint, we'll go after church.
paint is so expensive but if done properly the first time . 5gal bucket 
I need prime - house paint and porch trim.
I'll stop at Wilco and get Leek seeds and bunching onions. they are so much easier than doing onion from seed.
DH needs to to get some things at staples, I NEED more 1/2&1/2

Winds played heck outside yesterday. But did 4 loads of laundry ... Sheets & towels take up room! And even took the time to cut my hair. Boy did I need that! Makes you feel renewed 
A trip to town for 2 new gates & mower battery. Yah! Lawn mowed. Still very windy -- would love it to stop.

A few times I felt like I really needed to just stop and not finish but I pushed through and am glad I did. No rain, work outside - rain, work inside

The flooding of our road to the south, FB said: "That's bad" I said, yes it sure is. We are Thankful to live on high ground, where most of the water drains into the pond then discharges eventually into the creek to the south though a series of ditches that our neighbor put in many years ago

Hard to capture the flooding to the south of us. But when you're used to looking south and seeing dry land, it looks bad.
