I purchased 10 bags of dirt at the farm store so FB can top off her planters. 2 for $4 I took this pic to the cashier. Paid and she called out to the yard guys "load out 10 bags dirt".
I was met by two strapping young lads, I handed one of them my receipt. I pulled up to the pallet and we started to load up. Then one of the guys says wait a minute, wrong dirt. I scratched my head, he said you paid for this dirt here looking at my receipt. I said are you sure? He said yep that's what she rung up. Besides this dirt here is much better than that dirt. I said OK so we unloaded the bags and I pulled up to the pallets and they loaded up 10 bags. The loader guys counted them, 10 bags and so did, 10 bags.
So I unload at the farm and I unloaded 11 bags. I reached in my back pocket and the loader guy didn't give my receipt back. How in the world I ended up with 11 bags after two people counted 10 is a mystery to me.
Now I have to go back and pay for an extra bag or return one bag with no receipt. I can do this easily because all those farm store cashiers know me well. They are tank's fan club. My conscience simply won't let me keep a extra $2.00 bag of dirt, which I did not pay for.
I do believe this is a test and I won't let Mr. Almighty down, I have to go back tomorrow for my weekly feed anyways and will make this bagged dirt mix up right.
Spent 2.5 hours outside after work. Ran the trimmer through another charge, measured out the butterfly garden, dug up some sod to visualize the footprint and mowed what dry ground I could find for a little bit.
