Monday night my DD and family came in. They left Tuesday morning for Missouri to visit friends. They left their 3 dogs for me to take care of. Panic ensued as Carson is terrified of the pug, Sammy, and growls menacingly at him. I put the 3 in the fenced front yard and Carson goes out the back door. I crate the visitors when I leave, at night and just when I grow tired of them, which is often. Chaos and confusion reigns, Carson gives me sad, hurt eyes and the 3 are idiots. I went to my sisters yesterday to help her unpack, going back today.
NOT, fun

Until they get into your chicken house!!! Then skunk eats eggs & possum kills the chickens....then you dislike BOTH. 😖

Another glorious day, for which I'm thankful. But that darned roo in my front yard, crowing is getting annoying. Where's the off button? He's stuck on repeat.😳

@murphysranch glad you got some rain, believe you said you needed it. Wer'e green around here most all year from rains. Jul & Aug can be "dry" and with the heat, crunchy. That's when I'm really thankful for extra pasture. Goats eat a lot!! 😄. Of course, winter is cold, dormant & hay is needed. But little snow.
