we've found the Gremlin! :) :) :) too funny. but i really hate when stores move stuff around.
I suspose I never experience the germlin effect, it's rare I go to a grocery or any other store but the farm store. So infrequent that I just ask a cashier where something is at, instead of trying to find it myself. Last time the cashier called me "sweetpea" several times. I must remember to wear my rubber wedding ring next time. Some ladies can be overly flirtatious.

Some in retail -- esp at the registers -- seem to have their own "nicknames" to call most everyone. It's sometimes annoying. "Sweetie" is one I hear used a lot and that's annoying to me 🤨 so, I'd think "sweet pea" was a similar ill thought name she uses on many customers. Most don't mean to offend but, it can.

it doesn't bother me what they call me - i'm more offended by strong perfumes/smokefumes but i still try to ignore it if i can - i'm not the boss and often if i'm there it is not because of the service people or the smells but that i want something and then i want to get out of there ASAP.

moving things around makes me hate shopping even more (which is barely possible). good websites that tell me the right aisle number are very helpful for a large store. unfortunately they're not always accurate.

Then there are those hidden in plain sight spots. Did you know menards has a upstairs floor? It's true and it's a janky place with a plywood floor and shelves built out of wooden construction materials. It's where they keep the seasonal items when they are not in season. Need a in charcoal filter for your garden hose over winter? Chances are it's upstairs. There is a stairway and even a elevator leading upstairs. Pretty crazy...
