WOW!! That's a herd of them. Unbelievable numbers -- have they always been like this? Insane😳😖 you've been feeding them well. And they multiply sooo fast!

Enjoying my fresh pot of coffee. Thinking on plans for this week, while I'm home. Weather will play a part in what gets done. Couple days will need to do house chores, pack up some canners, jars, pots, etc. Made seasoned, spreadable cheese last night -- will package smaller & freeze today. Another batch of cajeta this morn and some mozzarella later in week. Use this milk! Fences & winter prep to work on outside. Sounds like I'm filling up my week! 😋 Need to make dental & eye exam appts.

Dang things learned how to use the treadle feeders even with the weighted lids. Had to move the magnet weight forward so that it pulls down on the bottom as well. It now takes 2 silkies to open. Boy are the silkies mad about that.

I think its most of the population from the marsh that moved in. Bone dry out there and silkies have water.

spot cleaning then takes over. "Here Spot! Nice doggy! *wags tail and dusts at the same time*"

no we don't have a doggie... but i like to use my imagination. :)

i do spot clean, just yesterday i had to put my futon setup back together since all the blankets and bottom covers had gotten all twisted and moved and needed to be put back. i'll have to dust part of the floor after getting the garlic picked up and put in flats for storage, they should all be dry enough by now. just in time for bean harvest and drying. and that means i need to get all my bean seed selections (for planting) put away so i have room for stacking flats.
