Wow...the entire state is in drought!!!

It's devastating. Your norm has rain, right?? Otherwise that's a desert out there.

East side of the Cascades is desert or slightly wetter Blue Mountains. West side is wet normally. The rainshadows make big differences

Im D2 as well here. Only about an hour north of the Oregon/Washington border.

Well... on the proof of "end of the world" but also funny.... vegan butter and vegan chicken.

My kids wound argue that YES, cows are vegan, so eating anything that comes from a cow =vegan... but... chickens are never vegan, unless they are raised in individual, hung from the ceiling cages....

Spent yesterday at a 2x yrly meet up with fellow BYH forum members. The "swap" where we go has gotten huge -- almost tooooo huge. It's an all day off farm thing with each of us driving there 100 or so miles for marathon walking, shopping & lunch with conversations. Epic.

Saw a LOT bought apples....not bringing anything home to feed!
