Up and at 'em this morning - thanks to DH's low blood sugar. Got that taken care of and decided it was a good time to start my day.

Fed the critters and back inside for my second cuppa.

WooHoo! Temps in the mid 60's this morning. We'll finally get some lower humidity also. Temps will still go up to the low 90's but with drier air - it's tolerable for sure!

almost every day here starts with nearly or 100% humidity during the warmer seasons - as the day goes on the humidity can drop (as of 2pm it says 56% humidity and 78F). once w*nt*r kicks in we can have lower humidity to even where static electricity and too dry sinuses become issues.

Mowed the orchard late this morning, had to wait for the heavy dew to evaporate first. Seen two baby prairie kingsnakes. I did NOT run them over, they are good guys

Slept in a little. It's a bit after 8 and I'm on my first cup and going for my second before I head outside. Cooler mornings lately, but days are still heating up to low 90's. Fall will get here eventually, right?

15.5 games out of first place in July and the Cleveland Guardians erase that deficit, and today score 4 runs to overcome a 3 run Texas lead in the 10th inning to win the division outright (not having to rely on those silly tiebreakers). Wowsa

Up and at 'em early this morning. Doc appt for DH this morning. I need to get outside and do chores as soon as the sun comes up. Then back inside to shower and hit the road running. Gonna be a busy day!
