it's been raining here today, yesterday was snow and shovelling it so it wouldn't be a mess. this week it will be warm (aka above freezing) until this weekend.
i don't like this constant changing back and forth because it brings chances of ice on the roads and everywhere else...
Wow, y'all with snow & cold...glad it you (sorry). I'm with FEM, warm weather person. It does snow here on occasion and usually the light stuff, a couple inches. That said, every few years we get an event with several inches -- which shuts down everything. No equipment to handle the extremes for more than major highways.
@Alaskan hope it slows for you. But you're used to it.
I'm having a 50-60* week here. Warmer than normal but lovely. Still, the worst part of our winter time frame is ahead. Hoping our "norm" holds and nothing severe happens.
I'm thrilled to have 80's in January - but worried that Mother Nature will take up some ideas of revenge and we'll get hit with single digits at some point as "payback." My luck she'll wait until I have the garden planted, some delicate shoots peeking through the ground and THEN we'll get hit. Hope not...
Slept well last night. Coffee is great. First cup has been inhaled and about to start the second. That's the one I'll savor slowly! Watching the depressing news... Think I'll turn it off and go outside and hug a goat.
