Productive morning after coffee.
Two tall kitchen bags of paper shedding complete, refrigerator cleaned out with leftovers from this week that the wife won't eat (I do miss my chickens at times like this), attacked the stack of mail on the kitchen table (3 weeks worth), have the wife's bedding in the wash, getting caught up on dishes, cleaned up the cat's feeding/watering bowls, and have blueberry scones cooling. Taking a hydration break now, going to fix the wife some lunch, and then get back to it

And it's snowing with mostly cloudy skies.

@Hinotori A friend posted that she was getting ready to butcher her pigs. She was selling whole or half shares.

She got THREE hatred posts, on the public page, about how cruel and inhumane it was to grow up those pigs only to offer them to EAT them!!! And these were not trolls. All three of them are in other local FB groups.

Rolls eyes....

Ive seen idiots who think we should all get our meat from the store where they don't have to kill an animal.

@FarmerJamie you're kiling it! 👍

@murphysranch that's just uncalled for....pigs are raised on farms just for slaughter. @Hinotori is right, those pork chops weren't slaughtered :he

What dumb arses! 🤬😖

It's like they think that the byproduct of dairy cows (their calves!!) need to stay with them. 🤨😵‍💫 how do they think a dairy farm operates?!?!?

We can't fix stupid.
