Yikes - sorry ya'll had it so rough!

Never had either shot & won't. Never a flu shot either. I have a pretty tough immune system. Beyond a runny nose & sneezing one yr with spring pollen, not been sick in well over 30 yrs.

Come on over, we have some broody turkey hens to play with. They are kind of like snapping turtles, but move faster and make crazier sounds.

Coffee is life-saving this morning. Interrupted sleep was the norm last night - all night long. But, gotta get up and at it this morning.

Back to adding dirt to the beds today. I'll be so glad when I finally get this job completed...

Finishing 2nd cup and then it's outside. Great weather & so much to do! First full 2 days home in almost 2 months....but, work slowing some, so it'll get back to 50/50 farm/work days soon. Better go see what to tackle first!

I only got 1 of the 2 shingle shots. (Do i remember that correctly, you need 2, spaced a few months apart??)

Anyway, the first shot made me feel like I had a horrid flue. I was in bed, bad aches all over, felt truly terrible. Lasted maybe 3 days?? I did not get the second one.

Ye, there is 2, I get the next one in 2 months. I didnt have a fever but my STINKING arm hurts- and I am still [ I think] dragging ,

I have had pneumonia every year and now twice in 5 months-- I / my lungs just can handle it anymore,

I am up, oh man this wore me out Yesterday.
Down the drive way fill the bucket and back up the driveway- we did this 13 times I left to dirt bath spots. We need to cut 5 poles to block them off. The chickens were ON - The Job. Every pile they jumped on. we worked 10:30 to 2:20



But its done.
