i suspect we set another record of some sort for how much rain we had last month. i think we had water over the road three times at least in April. normally that happens about once every few years. Jan was 7th wettest since records were kept and Mar was 3rd wettest...

This concrete patio/sidewalk thing is driving me nuts. Local guy (like 2 miles down the road) went small on everything and says he is cash only. Had a another (5th!) contractor come out for an estimate last night. He actually said he would not pour a set of steps we requested for the sliding door due to weight and possible damage to the foundation. I respected that.

I come in, the wife brings up two requirements she mentioned in passing 2 years ago, but hadn't mentioned once with any of the contractors. Significant change.

Ugh. I hate this.

I posted this on my FB. My total for my small SUV was $123 and change.

"Ouch. Costco at Camas WA is $5.299 for regular and $5.799 for supreme for my car! This hurts but I’m glad I don’t commute anymore!"

Issues resolved. Work will happen in the coming weeks, depending on the weather

OMG RIGHT!!! it was 5.60 at costco yesterday and 1.50 goes to state gas tax

I asked DD down in grants pass what he price was and she said in Central Point costco it was $4.99gal
