A really nice day today, but the our department team was given free passes to the local AA affiliate baseball team tonight (free clubhouse buffet included).

I can start backfilling on the outside edges now.

As long as I am careful, I can start excavation of the beds

4 weeks before I can set anchors for steps, railings, and the canopy.

so, while I wait, and after DH gets up, I'll get the vacuuming done , a load of towels, get something going for dinner.
I think I'll instant pot a bit of black beans, OoPP its rain now not drizzle,,, I have a cabbage and some carrots I need to do something with

• 1 yellow onion, diced
• 2 carrots, chopped
• 2 celery stalks, diced
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 small head green cabbage, chopped (~9 cups)

• 6 cups vegetable broth
• 1 tsp dried thyme or oregano

So .13 since midnight on rain.

When I fed the birds, both dogs went out. Hermes did his business and decided the drizzle wasnt for him. Ares stands in the rain waiting for me.

Only problem there is Ares wants to cuddle after because he's wet
