Gorgeous concrete!!!! Hope you have fun tonight.
You're ahead of me! I need to finish last week's list of chores, lol!need to finish yesterdays list of chores.
I am so very sorry. All I can say is that this abject sorrow for me.

I don't care how old you are losing a parent can be horrid.I flew down to San Jose on Wednesday dark o'thirty. Niece picked me up, went to sis' house and got some talking in. Then we went over to where Mother is. She was tranferred from the local hospital, where she stayed for 3 nights for Medicare to pay, to the Heath Center at the Retirement place she's been living since 2019.
She will be discharged from the Heath Center on the 29th, then transferring into Memory Care. So she's moved from Independent Living to Assisited living last year, to Memory Care at the end of this month.
Maybe most of you have already lost a parent or two. Daddy died in 2000, in his sleep. All I can say is that this abject sorrow for me. Even now I'm crying just typing this. She's frail, way thin, and is confused. But I asked her about her Grandfather's home in Stone Harbor, NY in the 40's and she talked and talked.
Sis, who clearly has ADD, OCD, and control issues, and I are packing up Mother's stuff so we can move some of her furniture, art, collections and belongings into the Memory Care room to make her time there comfortable, relateable, and almost like home.
I'm sad that Mother is just lingering here in life.
At 71, its hard to view your 95.5 yr old Mother so frail.
