Congrats. Thats a very sweet proposal and acceptance. My lil girl used to wear gummi savers as rings and act like a princess getting married.
So you have met him then? :gig :gig

LovinLife Thanks!

That's great :)

What kind of wedding are you having?
Actually, we aren't doing a wedding. We are planning on doing a handfasting ceremony for our friends and family in the area so they can all be involved and then doing a JP thing in New York in a couple years :)

gettinaclue, AnnaRaven Thanks to you both!

My hubby proposed to me in Hooters....while I was working....the bartender took pictures for him...guess he wanted EVERYONE to know I was taken. :p
:gig :gig :lau :lau :gig That is awesome!!

pinkfox Thanks!

A friend of mine and her girl are going to NY to make it legal. I was at their commitment ceremony about 10 years ago.

I did a handfasting ceremony. My kids bound me and their stepdad. it was really sweet.

I am soo happy for you. I love the romance of weddings. Weddings and births are just magic. IMO.

:weee And yes I want pics. You two are too goodlooking not to have gobs of pics.

Yeah! and congratulations! A handfasting sounds lovely- but we will still demand pictures! We had a JP officiated civil ceremony with our Jack Russell as our attendant :D We still haven't gotten around to the whole family party thing, although we talk about doing it every year. It is just so complicated and expensive to get it done.

We are actually thinking about waiting for a couple of years and doing it in August in upstate NY :) This way we can send out the invitations a year in advance, let everyone know when and where, and they can worry about their airplane tickets and hotel rooms and start planning and saving in advance. Especially the ones with kids, they will need that advance time notice :)
