Hope you have a fast and comfy recovery. I always hurt the worst on the third day, but then it got better quick. Its always easier when you have someone to pamper you a bit. Give your body some time, and you'll be back to smacking yourself in the face with 4x4s in no time. :lol:

Thankfully I'm a fast healer, so I'm looking forward to a quick recovery :D Hah! It's funny you should mention the 4x4. When I saw the dr to have the gash stitched up he asked me if we had had a lovers quarrel! :gig :gig :gig :gig This is especially funny because while from time to time we do argue (sometimes more than others :D ) we've never been physical and the few times we've wrestled around (he keeps thinking he can best me :lau ) he always ends up getting hurt :smack . Granted, he is a big tall guy, but if you've ever spent any amount of time around him you'd know how unlikely that is. He really is just a big girl :)



Alright, so I was gently reminded yesterday that I was being a bit of a downer, so I've decided to stop moaning about myself and move on :) I got up and let the dogs out this morning because someone was still sleeping :smack and I let out the ducks and the chickens, gave the chickens scratch, and very carefully emptied the ducks water and refilled it and gave them food. We don't give the chickens food until the midday because it gives them all morning to forage for bugs and grass and such :) And then I walked out to get the paper and yesterdays mail. And now I'm having a bit of a restup before I get back up. That took a bit out of me but I'm proud I did that much!

And I don't know if it's all the tylenol or what but I had the most erotic dream last night! I'm not going to go into details but it was incredibly vivid and real feeling. Strange beyond strange, but vivid!

And any males who have gone through the same procedure I had, if one of you could pm me that would be fantastic. I have a question or two and I'd like to talk to someone who has been through this before :)

*Thought of the day* Whomever said you can't choose your family was obviously a pessimist. You can always choose your family. Just choose carefully or you will end up with no family!
 
Alright, so I've been doing a search online for rental properties in Lawrence, KS because we've decided we want to do this and we are pretty sure he will get the job. So, how do I go about finding a house that is close to town,or even in town, but still allows us to have a good garden area and several chickens and ducks and the two dogs and two cats?
 
Some kind of real estate property management company I think. They will be able to tell you what is allowed and what isn't quickly.

You can't pick RELATIVES. Family should be carefully selected :D

Weird how it works out.

Its perfectly ok to hurt, you went threw major surgery. Glad you have the strength of character to get up and work threw. Says a great bit about you.

Ive had so much surgery that I know to medicate steadily for three days, on the fourth day, I put on my big girl panties and tough up. Otherwise, the meds make me useless and whiney.

Im sure its different for everyone, but I learned how i react. I also go into a pretty serious depression by the fourth day of meds. I adore morphine, a bit too much, and i could easily go into addiction land if I dont force myself to get away from it.

You should sidetrack your mind with wedding planning. I love to plan. Flowers and cake..... so much fun...
