I am butchering a rabbit that is over a year old. Any recipe ideas? I'm also butchering a less-than 6 month old bun at the same time. Can I cook them together?
I bet the recipes designed for older chickens (slow cooking, long & low temp, lots of moisture) would work for an older rabbit.
The last one I cooked I rubbed with crushed garlic, salt & pepper, stuffed onion & garlic in the cavity, wrapped it in bacon like a mummy and grilled over low, smokey coals in the bbq. OMG yum
