Does anyone know a good method of getting rid of corns that actually works? The ones on the bottom of my SO's foot are really starting to hurt him to the point he can't walk around without something on his feet for the padding.

Any suggestions would be helpful.
Also, any good suggestions for promoting quick healing after a surgery?

Corns are a build up of dead skin because of an irritant. Shoes rubbing on a high spot, toes rubbing together, that kind of thing. You need a product with salicylic acid to break down the dead skin. Don't try to take them off in one sitting. It can cause more pain. The key is to stop the irritation. Corn pads in the foot section of the drug store may help.
