I'll have to fence out those rhododendrons as well....
I would...but that just me. Last thing I would want to see is your hard work with plantings get damaged or the girl getting sick from something preventable.
Mainly the sick part, they are very toxic....

Yep, that goes without saying.

Wild cherry is more of an issue here.

These are our plants  Never thought we'd have a cow in the orchard....but they are Gran's love so I can't cut them down. But I may be able to fence around them and spare all the trees, and toxicness. I will sacrifice a plot though, but I think it'll be fine. 8 plots of thick clover/grass mix, plus hay and grain. :fl

Could you trade labor for hay (for the winter?)

Anyways, the cow plan sounds like you are off to a good start.

Yes, I have connections. :D Already have most of that worked out, and hay is not that expensive up here anyway. 3$ a bale, and I'd need 75. That is 225$ for a winter's worth.

May just be able to do a trade out. I am worrying over finding one, and keeping my trees healthy and my cow healthy. Now I have potatoes planted I need something else to worry about.... :p
