It IS a great read! I've always noticed that when I have a respiratory issue that breathing outside air made me feel better. I often thought it might be that the humidity in outside air was more soothing to the lungs than the dried out air from being inside. That article explains it better. :)

if i didn't have pollen allergies/reactions i'd agree to that... :( i'm still happier working outside than inside once it warms up enough. i'm looking at a nice sunny day and giving it another hour to warm up before going out and doing something. it is cold and a bit of a breeze but i need to do something useful. been cooped up too much lately.

That was very interesting. Often times, when my husband is sick, he goes and sits in the sun. Instinctively, he knows what is healing him. Sunshine and fresh air-it makes sense.
