ok you know i'm panicking

so debbie wasnt faking it - she had THREE babies! 2 boys and a girl

the first, the largest - a male wont eat

he seems vigorous - he does the tail waggle and seems to find the teat.. but he wont eat

we put some nutri-drench and first milk in a syringe and got it in his mouth but he didnt seem like he drank it down.

good heartbeat, nice and warm, we rubbed him vigorously

any other ideas?

i'm running back out there and will be back in a few mins.

yikes!
ps no i didnt puke - the Good Neighbor Husband came running over and saved the day

He just needs to destress probably :)
Let him rest with mama.

Congrats! Sounds like you are getting better at the birthing process!

Relax!
No need to worry for several more hours.

Check the teats for the flow, make sure she's not plugged up and give him a little time. Congrats on the trips!!!!! Shivering is normal - once they are totally dry and under the heat, they should be fine. If not, cut the arm off a sweatshirt, cut 2 holes in it for the legs to go through and slip it on him. It's kind of like stuffing a butterfly back into a cocoon :p, but it will keep him warm.
