DH left this morning to go hunting. It's Bow season here.

Last week he got a doe. He's in charge of killing and skinning and gutting and then I'm in charge of processing. Last year he got a big Muley buck and I didnt know what the heck I was really doing as far as the different cuts of meat and how to properly store it for the freezer. So I did my homework and learned how to do it, thanks to some guy on you tube! Now the botom of our upright freezer is full of doe # 10/15. Well yesterday our neighbors gave us thier older but working fine freezer and I can't wait to fill er up! i love it when friends upgrade! I asked dh to cure a deer hide for me. Just thought I'd share that with ya'll. -tx honky
