My kids love "Fry Sauce", play around with the ingredients to suite your families tastes. Here is the basic recipe.
* 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
* 1/3 cup ketchup
* 1 dash salt
* 1 dash pepper
* 1 dash garlic powder
* 1/2 teaspoon mustard (optional)
Whip together and refrigerate until ready to use.
This is really popular in our home state, most restaurants carry it (even Mcdonalds)

also did I miss honey mustard mentioned? Or just honey for chicken.
* 1/2 cup mayonnaise
* 1/4 cup honey
* 1/4 cup yellow mustard or Dijon mustard

and good old ranch covers the rest at our house :D

When I worked in a restaurant, we made buttermilk ranch by using "1 package" (sorry) of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix, and mixing it with HALF the amount of buttermilk specified on the envelope. This made a nice thick dip.

I also wanted to share our FAVORITE sauce for breadsticks/pizza/cheese sticks.
We always triple or more and freeze in pizza size portions. It seems like a long list of ingredients, but well worth it IMHO.

Ingredients

* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 1 tablespoon butter (I usually do not add)
* 1/2 cup onion, chopped
* 1/4 cup celery, chopped
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
* 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
* 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
* 1 teaspoon dried basil
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 small bay leaf
* 1 teaspoon fennel seed

Directions
In a large skillet, melt butter with the oil. Add the onion, celery and garlic and saute until soft and transparent.
Add tomato sauce and tomato paste and stir until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to slow simmer.
Simmer for 30-60 minutes (longer the better, it deepens the flavor)
Remove the bay leaf and spread the sauce on your prepared pizza dough or use for dip.

How about this one....it is my version of parmesan pepper salad dressing that I had at a steak house years ago and tried to re-create.

1 c mayo, preferably homemade
1 c sour cream
1/4-1/2 c parmesan or romano cheese, to taste
black pepper

Thin to preferred consistancy with water or milk or buttermilk.

I prefer to make it with my zippy mayo, which is basically mayo made with more salt, pepper, garlic and onion powders so I can make chicken salad or turkey sandwiches more quickly. I also make a standard mayo to use in cole slaw, or things that need a milder flavor. We usually reach for the zippy mayo, though!
