I feel your pain. I don't even apply mascara on my bottom lashes they are so nonexistent. Interesting link. I may give this a try. I don't wear mascara that often so this would be a good alternative to buying and then throwing out expensive tubes every six months.

I found some "super stay" makeup that's supposed to last for 24 hours... nope, melts right off! :D

Waterproof mascara is removed with oil so it won't stay very good in the heat. If you want your mascara to stay, you're better off using the non-waterproof formulas if your skin gets oily.

My eyelashes are blonde also, but not so short. Mascara is usually the only make up I wear on a daily basis. some lipstick if I go out. I am definitely going to try this.

I have short sparse lashes and most mascara drives me nuts after it's about 3 weeks old!! I think I will give this a try too. I don't need the lengthening, thickening typse because they just seem to flake and irritate my eyes. THis could be the answer!

Cool!! I very rarely wear makeup. I know how to make kohl :D

In the SCA, a lot of people put a bowl over a candle and collect the smoke. Put a TINY bit of oil on a qtip, collect the soot, and apply :p But here is a cool walkthrough on it.
