i bought some mustard greens at the grocery store for a crazy amount of money and had them in the fridge for 2 days and took them out to find out they were mostly yellow and slimy. i have bought mustard greens on a road side stand and they kept for almosta week in the fridge.

so from disgust i ordered mustard seeds yesterday and i bought some 4 mil plastic and laid it on the ground till the seeds come in.

im in south carolina and it is ranging from 40-60 here and im in zone 8

so you think i will just be wasting my time?

It may depend on what kind of mustard greens you're growing, but I know that some oriental types are EXTREMELY cold-hardy, to below the freezing point. I would seriously expect yours are probably fine -- I mean, I'd grow *lettuce* in weather when the lowest nightly lows were generally 40 F, and mustard is hardier.

But this is just a guess.

GOod luck, have fun,

Pat
