Just get yourself some easter eggers, girl! Green eggs are easy-peasey. My easter eggers are giving me an egg a day and have been since the beginning of January. And they are probably my prettiest birds.

I have two EEs!! They lay brown eggs!! They have green legs, pea combs, nice ear muffs... but brown eggs!! I am soooooooooo disappointed!!

Of my first two EEs one laid a greenish egg, but the other laid a light tan one. Both, sadly, are no longer with me, but the newest lays a lovely green egg - well, she did; none of my four are laying at all at the moment . I got a grand total of nine eggs this month. Well, tomorrow is another month ... and in 4 weeks I will be getting 5 new chicks
I plan to make some of the original egg totes that were pictured, as soon as I can get some appropriate fabric. I don't sell any of my chooks' eggs - not enough - but I do give them away sometimes when I have a surplus; I think those totes would make nice gifts.

hmmmm, I'm jealous of the green eggs!!

I'm going to look for some chicken print fabric to make myself a egg carrier!! I just carry them in my hands... The most eggs I ever have in a day is three or four.

Same here, but then again, I only have 4 hens.

Oh I like the new one, I can just picture a loaf of bread in the middle! I always find the most wonderful breads at farmer's markets.
