My brother, his wife and two little ones live in Yokosuka. He is Navy. News from my SIL is that the main quake lasted 3 minutes.
They are ok. The Navy is working up and down the coast to pull all ships out to sea where they are safer.

Glad to hear your family is ok. What horrific news that was to wake up to. I have friends over there ...

Good to hear that your family is safe.

Many prayers going up today for the people of Japan.

Glad to know they are okay, I know what a relief that must be to you. :) Prayers definitely need for those poor folks in Japan. Let's hope the tusnamis to come aren't as bad as feared.

I am glad to hear your family is safe. It's a very tragic situation and looks like it may get even worse for some, if they can't get that one reactor under control. I'll keep them in my prayers.

I have a friend who is in the Navy there also. He is a chaplain, and they posted on Facebook that they are all ok.

My cousins may have family in Japan. (Their father is Japanese American.) But, I haven't heard anything. I'm sure if something had happened to any of them, my aunt would have called my mother.

I'm glad your Navy brother and family are OK. Tell him I said Thank You for his service.
