I know we got some freezing rain last night, so some of the streets were slick when I headed out this morning. Don't know what it's been doing this evening.

So far, so good. The county is under a travel emergency. It's still above freezing, but the wind is picking up. I AM staying home today...

Evidently, I earlier missed the extent of the ice we got last night. I went out to make the rounds this morning and noticed we had almost an inch of ice on the sidewalks and driveway.
I got the sidewalk cleaned up and made the mistake of stepping on the ice at the top of the driveway (paved). 60 ft later I was able to step onto the yard. The dog gave me a 6.5 on the technical part of my program, but I got a 9.6 on artistic interpretation.
It's now dropping ice pellets on us....
