WBF, my RIR chickens have worked out to be the best ones I bought originally, they are still laying well even though they are two years old and they are by far my friendliest chickens. They are just production reds but they are not praised enough IMHO.
I agree! They are some good layers for sure! I have a few grown ones that are some of my current layer flock :) Very pleased with them, just not for their meat qualities, but I have my Delaware's for that ;)

JAMIEEEEEEEEEE!!!! you're life isn't boring, you just got tha BLUES! I hate it for ya, wish I could send you a big ole bucket of sunshine :hugs

I love my one RIR, that's why I got four more! Her personality is fun!

Sunshine, I got. The other Buckeyes here have documented our early summer-like weather.

I'm fine, really (what did you think of the pix on FB?). Too much other things going on with the kids, end of school and the like.

Wow...all those grave markers make me sad sometimes :( On a happier note little man is lookin so good in his uniform, you must be very proud of him :)

Boring means nothing bad is happening, right? That is always good.

Hope you are getting some of this 78 and 20mph breeze we are getting today! It is just gorgeous out there!
Took a 1/2 day vacation day from work, sipping some ice water right now before heading back out to bale, I mean cut, the grass in the yard.

:yuckyuck So sad but true. TR says the north 40 is gonna hafta wait; still too wet!

Seriously, we have done that before - planted pasture grass in small portions of the farm yard, cut and baled it for hay for The Ladies. Fresh cut timothy is one of my favorite smells..... :love
