hope everyone covered plants outside, frost advisory tonight!! :(
You're not kidding! I had snowflakes hitting the windshield on the way to work this morning.

I'm blessed I don't have anything in the garden right now because of the rainfall in April that is at 300% of normal.
SHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Don't say that word!!!!! It might hear you and come back!!!!

We had some frost here this morning. I recovered the cold frame last night and put an extra layer of straw over the potatoes that were popping up, just in case :)

The day began yesterday with the intent to build a quick set of tractors to house the 50+ meaties. Lowe's Fever took over, so instead, the kids and I build the "Green Coffin", aka "Birdzilla Dumpster". The top is actually a removable lid (with a flap to get get access at the back portion or to provide ventilation when it gets too warm).

Regardless, it was a great day with family!

Quiet May Saturday morning, woke up about 5:45, made coffee, sitting by the front window listening to the world wake up.

A little cloudy and damp, but I've spent the last 20 minutes listening to the tom turkey patrolling the edge of the woods across the road.

What a peaceful way to start the day....
