I'm trying to use up brown rice before it goes rancid. It only has 6 month shelf life. Only a few pounds left.

when i was eating more of that i would only buy enough to last a month or so at a time. since it was often on the shelf for a while at the store the quality would vary enough there too (plus i was down south and the heat and humidity made a difference in how it tasted). now where i'm at Mom won't touch it or lentils (which combined and cooked used to be a staple meal for me with other mixed veggies).
