My son likes balsamic vinegar. Of course, since it is expensive, he likes to use A Lot of it. He also likes to only use it on occasion...that occasion being when we are completely out and I am broke. At that point only balsamic vinegar will do and many autistic meltdowns will occur until he gets more.
So to save the one tiny shred of sanity i have left, i came up with a FAUXSAMIC vinegar recipe. If he doesnt like this it will still work great on salads. I will find out later tonight if this fools him or if i will be using this to make dressing.
Fauxsamic Vinegar
1 1/2 cups white vinegar
1 1/2 cups raw apple cider vinegar
1 cup red wine
1/4 cup honey
6 packets Truvia
Heat the honey and white vinegar and stir until the honey is disolved. Remove from heat and stir in TRUVIA. Add raw acv and wine and stir well. Put in a fancy bottle and hope your pain in the butt kid doesnt notice it's home made.
