Favorites?

I am working at a sheep farm that just started a garden. We are doing Dalia’s and peonies but what are your favorite flowers and the most same favorites will be researched to plant.

i like all sorts of flowers. the more kinds i can grow the more i like it here. alas, due to skin or breathing reactions we've had to remove a few so in the future i hope to add them back again.

i have flowers/plants for:
- ground cover (creeping thyme),
- bee population checking (onions, squash, cosmos),
- cut flowers (many),
- wild flowers (pinks),
- perennials (daylillies),
- biannuals (some irises),
- biennials (hollyhocks),
- annuals (lots including beans ).

i don't keep track of each of them any more as there are too many and even some new ones show up every year by blowing in on the wind or by seeds/plants coming in potting mixes or pots and etc.

i've even had a few rather invasive ones come via seed mixes so it always is a good idea to test a small plot of those or plant them in pots to be sure you really like them before scattering them all over. um, ..., ooops...

Gladiolus, daffodils for bulb flowers. I do have peonies for the wife.

I prefer flowering bushes to attract humming birds...butterfly bushes and 9 bark bushes

I am a low maintenance type of flower gardener

My favorite is carnations. I do pinks as well. Anything in the dianthus family. Love the smell.

yes, i recall some of them smelling very spicy like cloves.

Flowers? Roses and lillies, both are pretty to look at and smell good too. But my favorite are flowers on our fruit trees when they are covered with bees in the early spring.​

Carnations are my number one favorite flower. I will try to plant any flower seed or bulbs. I especially love the smell of tomato flowers.
