Feed Woes

NOT helpful! (Even though it is true!) :gig

They do deliver to Colorado. Of course I would have to order $500 worth of stuff at one time or get socked with shipping. I can usually come up with $20-$40 at one time. $500? not so much :P
Right. I guess since 4 months of feed for me would be about $500 it makes more sense to me to order a bunch and store it, but I'm guessing your feed bill is lower than mine and you would have to store the feed longer.

The other option would be finding other people in your area that want to order from them and combining an order . . . but it sounds like that isn't likely either.

I go through one 50# bag of feed or less/month and that is for all the quail and all the ducks.

I know I sound like a whiner, but I feel trapped. I do not have room, money, or friends with critters that I could split an order with. None of my friends or neighbors raise animals for eggs and food.

It's hard to be the local freak :D

Free, I have thought about meal worms or red wigglers. But I am so cramped on space, I am not sure where I would put a bin of bugs. Plus they are BUGS!!!! EEWWWWW!!!! :sick (has an OFG-style girly hissy fit).

Tanks, I may have to go the sprouting route. Spring - Fall I can do that on the porch. Not sure how I would do it in Winter. I have so little counter space. I just need to win the lotto and buy a bigger house I guess ;D
Certainly there is an ordering group near you.
Just email or call Azure, and they will give you the contacts. Shipping will be quite low that way.

I like BB's suggestion. You might even meet someone cool! :D
