Needle felting is super easy. You take your wool and start stabbing it with the needle. Little barbs on the needle do the felting for you. You can just add an embellishment to fabric or knit items, or you can make wool sculptures!

PM sent.

How hard is it to teach yourself to felt?

I'll take them!
There are tons of video's on you tube to get you started! Its much fun and the wool is super forgiving.

Thanks, I remembered all of your neat projects, that is why I wanted them.

I can't wait!
You'll need a foam pad to work on, I bought a white one, then as most of my projects seem to be in light wool - I bought a black one too because it was hard to see the details and such.

I need to teach myself to do felting. I'd love to put some llama fiber to good use and I have a pretty good yarn stash. :)
