Lovely! There's just something about chocolate eggs isn't there? Makes me really miss my girls. The logic in me knows it was best for us to sell them but I really miss having them around.

Don't you LOVE rainbow egg baskets? I have green, brown and pink, but I would like some chocolate ones! Too bad I'm at my city limit. :(

yeah, they are just lovely. rainbow egg cartons are the best! i have egg customers who will pay extra for all blue cartons. i wonder what i can get for all chocolate?!?!?!

i've got Wheatens, but i think, from looking at the roo, that they might have some BCM in them. he's pretty dark.

this pic is from when i first got them, about 4 months ago

Are there any ducks that lay colored eggs?

Cayugas lay dark eggs at the beginning of their egg cycle. Then the eggs become blue. Some of mine stay light blue but a few turn white. My call ducks eggs are tinted Blue.
