We have wisteria, honeysuckle and trumpet vine around here. The trumpet vine is the worst - absolutely horrible. The others can be kept in check - even though I've seen some beautiful wisteria that went a little crazy when some folks moved out and it had a couple years of unsupervised growth. But it was reined back in and is behaving itself fairly well now.

The honeysuckle flowers don't survive me usually. When it gets big enough, maybe I could try that. I love the taste.

I kind of already did something like that with honeysuckle but I used honey instead to ferment mead. I probably should do a gallon of wine also though. I must admit I was totally set back when the honeysuckle flowers turned green though.

Here's my wife's honeysuckle mead fermenting away. I keep it topped off with local honey.
