I got about 25 small jelly jars with lids that I can put pepper sauce in this summer, small bowls with lids that when I cook a large meal I can put small portions in bowls in freezer. Several cups and kiddie glasses the grandkids will enjoy.

I love freecycle!!

That's great. Jelly jars are hard to find.

I wish we had more variety on our local freecycle.

Good work:ya

oooooh, I love jelly jars. We don't have freecycle here. We have radio show called tradio and I asked for preserving material and lo and behold my next door neighbor called and offered hers. She doesn't can anymore.

good deal. those little jars are hard to come by and for free you sure can't go wrong.

great in the basement or garage for little nails and bobs and such.

I always keep my eye out anywhere for canning jars. So far, I haven't found any.

Congrats on your find.

There use to be canning jars all the time but I don't see many any more.

I am on several different freecycles. I live very close to 4 counties but I normally use the county I'm in and the one DH works in.

Last year I asked for egg cartons and I got several offers but they would only have 2 egg cartons and I really appreciate it but it's not worth the gas to drive to pick up 2 egg cartons.

Woot! Score! I have so many jars now I have to stop myself when I see someone giving them away. I feel like you can never have too many jars but so far I've still got some that have never even been washed so I let others have a chance at the ones that are being given away.
