Frugal Tips for our Livestock

Thanks for posting littlefarmer! Thats a good basis and very cost effective. Does anyone know any alternatives for the soy?

I would like to know a good alternative for that, too but I'm not sure what else to use to get the protein up...

You may be able to do oats, barley, and wheat and WAY less corn.......

I don't know what would be best alternative to soy, but probably any legume, or nuts are high protein too. I could grind hickory nuts into mine because they are high in protein and the shells would be good for grit.

I am gonna fix them a whole grain mix when we go Saturday :D
