So far I've got 4 ready to cook meat loaves in the freezer - two turkey and dressing and two beef. I love meat loaf and don't really give a hoot if DH doesn't love it as much as I do, lol. His idea of good ground beef...pop it in the oven and bake it plain.... UCK! Also have some beans in the canner so I'm feeling like it's been a pretty productive day. It's rainy so I had nothing better to do anyway.

Woo Hoo - all my jars of beans sealed!
Probably do some more tomorrow.... I need a bigger canner. Can only do 8 jars at a time. Maybe someday....

Nothing too strenuous on the agenda today. We'll go see mom and dad and stop by wally world to pick up some seed starting supplies. Whoop, whoop! Excited about starting the spring garden!
The one big project I need to do is to try to move a round bale. I'm not sure that will happen or not after the rain we had again yesterday. Just wouldn't do to get the tractor AND a round bale stuck, probably half way through an open gate... Might have to start peeling hay off of a round bale and carrying it to the various pens. What a major pain in the tuckus....but might have to do it anyway. Critters are all out of their round bales in their pens...they've become pooping places. Might be ok for adding to the garden area...poopy hay can't hurt nuttin', right? Before I use this hay as mulch I'll call the grower and make sure it hasn't been sprayed. I don't think it has...this field is right around the corner from my house and I've NEVER seen anybody do anything but cut and bale it.
Slept in a little this morning - NICE. But, I need another cup of coffee and then I've gotta get busy.

Pigs are in piggy heaven...ugh. Me....not so much. Can't go outside without getting muddy and changing clothes several times a day. I'm so OVER IT!

Poopy hay would be lovely for the garden, provided it hasn't been sprayed I'm anxious to get going with the spring garden too. It's in the low 50's here today and I see the sun finally made an appearance. I feel your pain with the rain and mud. I can't remember the last time I saw dry ground. Seriously, I can't.

It's simply horrible here. I hate dealing with it - but I hate MORE that the critters have to deal with this stuff.

I can't remember the last time I saw the ground at all! Lol but seriously mud is miserable. Especially for the poor goats. Hope you get some sunshine and dry ground soon!

Me too! It's supposed to be 'pretty' for most of the week and then rain most of next week.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Just can't win.
I did go ahead and turn the big Kinder buck out with the gals...he walked about half way out to them and then turned around and came back to the gate like ....let me back in! Funny guy. I really haven't noticed any interest between any bucks and does lately...no fence running or nuttin. May or may not be too late. Not crucial either way, but if I got a doe bred now it would give me the option of milking her until next spring. Not sure I'd want to anyway, lol - but the option would be there.
