Forty-seven degrees - yee haw! I know for a lot of ya'll that is balmy weather, but I've been waiting for this for months. We're still going to have fluctuations in the temps for the next week or so. We could be anywhere from mid 60's to low 80's but there is a day or two with highs in the 50's. After a long hot summer anything under 95 is welcome, lol.
It should be a perfect day to be outside, so what's actually happening at my house? Occupational Therapy is coming to do an assessment at 8:30 and Physical Therapy is coming at 12:30. Wonder if OT can assess him while he's still in bed? Next week we have 3 doc appts away from the house. Forty minutes east of here on Monday, 20 minutes west of here on Tuesday and 40 minutes east agaon on Thursday. One could only dream that we could have the two appts east of here on the same day - but nope! That would be too much like right, right?
Nothing exciting in the goat world. Moved a couple of does yesterday into the "old lady" assisted living pen. Old lady Nubians just can't keep any weight on so they're getting personal service these days. They're getting extra feed and Chaffhaye as a topper. They aren't even appreciative - they just keep _itching about being away from their friends. Geeze, there are 3 of them together - you'd think that would be enough.
I'm ready for kidding season, lol. I want to see what I get out of the new buck! Not even sure all the does are bred yet, but there should be no shortage of babies even if a few girls get a break this year.
Guess I should get DH outta bed...
