The happiness from last night is still here! Our next game might be a little rougher. NE Patriots - in their house. Sure wish we could play at home.

I need to cover up the water line now. I got the valve dug out and have a cover on it. Need to finish the job and move on. I'm trying to get more exercise anyway. Shoveling has to count as exercise, right?

Really have to get DH back on a more challenging program. We're planning a road trip to see DGS graduate from basic. We've got about 10 weeks to get him strong enough to get in and out of a car multiple times a day. I'm planning on taking the wheelchair because I have no idea how much walking there will be at the actual ceremony. I probably need to start a packing list now so I don't forget anything.

Saw a mama goat running away from her babies yesterday. Uh - NO! That's not allowed. I need to really watch them for a bit today and see if she's letting them do any nursing or was just being grouchy because it was her feeding time. I can't tolerate a bad mama. She is a FF, but she was awesome when they were first born...in fact she was awesome until yesterday. They're only 18 days old. They are nibbling grain, but not anywhere near weaning age. Hope that doe has her priorities straight today!

Guess I better get out there and find out.

I lost my interest in Cleveland NFL football (or what is presented to us) decades ago, but I still root against Pittsburgh.

I've been putting off a trip to town since Monday. Gotta put my big girl panties on and go today. Need critter feed. Can't deny them a good meal just because I hate leaving the house. I need to get my truck inspected also. Ugh!

I need to get back to preparing for the trip to DGS's graduation from basic training in March. DS and DDIL are going also. They refuse to fly so we'll be driving. I'm ok with that - who doesn't love a road trip?

Went to town Wednesday but neglected to stop for the inspection. I'm such a slacker!

Spent a little time showing the babies the creep feed area. I guess most of them aren't hungry enough yet, but a couple of the older ones appreciated it. The mama's were quite put out about not being able to get in. Maybe they remember the buffet from when they were younger.

Worked on a chicken tractor yesterday. Got the bottom wire put on it and almost ready for inhabitants. I need to find a tarp to put around the north end to block wind/rain. These pens are portable and I move them several times a week to an area of fresh grass. Guess I'll be moving birds around later today.

Chicken tractors -- mow & fertilize at the same time!! Maybe use the garden area, cause they'll clean up roots too! Hmmmm...since I still haven't gotten more piggies! 😊
